During a sports physical, we check the current state of your health. We measure your height, weight, hearing, vision, and reflexes. We may also check how flexible you are and conduct a strength test. These tests ensure you can safely participate in ongoing physical activity. We take a similar set of vitals during an annual physical as a sports physical. Our focus during an annual physical is your general health. It’s less vigorous but gives you a clear idea of your current state of your body’s health.

How should I prepare for a physical?
