Hajera Hayat is a fourth year pre-medical student majoring in Public Health at George Washington University. She plans to specialize in dermatology, as well as plastic surgery. She currently works as a medical assistant at Jaggu Health, where she has gained hands-on experience in patient care. Hajera Hayat has been able to learn a functional approach to medicine, with an emphasis on patient care and preventative health and wellness. She hopes to take these experiences and lessons with her throughout medical school and residency and apply them when she is practicing as an independent doctor.
